Here's my next blog and in this we'll be talking about the other traditional Thokro-Dum dress of Sikkim.  IT is the primary outfit for the Lepcha community members. Usually, the Lepcha bread makers sport this. It consists of a white pyjama stretching up to the calves, almost resembling a karate player's outfit.  Yenthatse , a Lepcha shirt and  Shambo , an embroidered cap are paired with it. A multicoloured, hand-woven cloth called the  Dumpra  is pinned at one shoulder and held in place by a waistband. What does the dress indicate? The indication of the dress is very peculiar.The short length of the pyjama indicates that the men have originated from or lived long in marshy land. Traditional Bhutia Attire Welcome back guys! Today I am going to Share a very beautiful dress of sikkim with you. It's name is Bhutia which is also known as Bakhu in Nepalese dialect and Kho in the Bhutia language, In old times: It is the primary traditional costume worn by the Bhutia tribe of Sikkim who make for a major section of the Sikkimese population. Apart from the fact that this piece of clothing is sleeveless, Bakhu resembles somewhat a Tibetan Chuba which is worn by both men and women. This looks like a loose cloak like clothing that is tied and tightened around the neck and waist with the help of a belt which is made out of silk or cotton material.
